Zones exist across continents, dimensions and across the stars.

The Burning Crusade is split into 14 zones. 8 of which comprise Outland and 6 of which are added to the current continents.

• Outland
  • Hellfire Peninsula Level Range: 58-63
  • Zangarmarsh Level Range: 60-64
  • Terokkar Forest Level Range: 62-65
    • Shattrath City (Sanctuary)
  • Nagrand Level Range: 64-67
  • Blade's Edge Mountains Level Range: 65-68
  • Netherstorm Level Range: 67-70
  • Shadowmoon Valley Level Range: 67-70

• Eastern Kingdoms (all new zones are Horde territory)
  • Eversong Forest -- Blood Elf starting zone Level Range: 1-10
    • Silvermoon City -- Blood Elf Capital
  • Ghostlands -- Level Range: 10-20

• Kalimdor (all new zones are Alliance territory)
  • Azuremyst Isle -- Draenei starting zone Level Range: 1-10
    • The Exodar -- Draenei Capital
  • Bloodmyst Isle -- Level Range: 10-20
