Switching faction

From The Aldor to The Scryers

If you want to switch factions from The Aldor to The Scryers you need to do a quest called Voren'thal's Visions, available only if you are below neutral with The Scryers. This means turning in 8 Dampscale Basilisk Eyes for 250 reputation points and 11000 experience points to an NPC named Arcanist Adyria situated on the northern end of the Lower City in Shattrath City. You will lose 275 reputation points with The Aldor. This quest is repeatable by the quest More Basilisk Eyes giving 250 reputation points with The Scryers and -275 reputation points with The Aldor up to neutral reputation with The Scryers, at which point you can start doing quests for The Scryers.

From The Scryers to The Aldor

If you want to switch the other way around there is a comparable quest for The Aldor, starting at Sha'nir who is situated almost by the northern bridge out of Shattrath City, just into the main part of Lower City. The first quest is called Strained Supplies, yielding 250 reputation points with The Aldor, -275 reputation points with The Scryers and 10750 experience points for turning in 8 Dreadfang Venom Sacs. The follow-up is called More Venom Sacs and yield the same amount of reputation points, but no experience.
