The Black Stalker

General Info

The Black Stalker is the fourth and final boss of the Underbog wing of Coilfang Reservoir

• Level (Normal): 65 (Elite)
• Type: Beast

Abilities

• Chain Lightning
• Levitate – randomly targeted, lifting a party member up and away from The Black Stalker.
• Static Charge – Debuff that can not be removed, periodically deals 750 Nature damage to self and nearby allies.

Strategy

The Black Stalker can be a tremendous pain in the rear especially with the random nature of his Levitate skill; it is however important to note that spells can still be cast in this state if the range requirements are met.

It can be helpful to have the tank pull The Black Stalker away from the rest of the party to reduce the number of targets hit by his Chain Lightning. If the healer is Levitated it may be a good idea for the tank to run towards where they were lifted to stay in range for healing. In extreme cases of healer’s mana shortage the party member afflicted with Static Charge may quarantine themselves away from the rest of the party.
