Before Thrall forged the New Horde out of the free and freed orc clans together with the Darkspear trolls and Tauren, the orc was the only occupants of their "Horde". The "Orcish Horde" is the term used when Blackhand the Destroyer was in charge of the orc tribes, even if he in fact was only a pawn by the Shadow council.
