Muradin Bronzebeard
From wow.incgamers.com
While his brother Magni ascended to the throne of Ironforge Muradin chose to follow the path of the warrior, quickly becoming one of the most skilled warriors in the land. During the Second War Muradin acted as an ambassador to Ironforge and found aid in Lordaeron and the Alliance to recover their homeland. While in Lordaeron court he met Prince Arthas, who was an apprentice paladin at the time, Muradin became his mentor in the fighting arts, his comrade and friend. While travelling in the northern reaches of Northred Muradin heard tales of an ancient artefact called Frostmourne. During his search for the mighty sword Muradin's outpost was attacked by the scourge.
Fortunately for him at the time, he found aid on his old friend Arthas who was in Northred at the time seeking vengeance form the Dreadlord Mal'Ganis. In order to vanquish the undead forces Arthas asked Muradin if he could lead him to the fabled sword, although Muradin witnessed that vengeance obscured Arthas mind, he stood besides his old friend and help him to reach the sword. Once they reached the location of Frostmourne Muradin told Arthas not to take it as there was an evil curse on it. The prince, not even capable of listening to a friend's wise advice took the sword. As soon as the sword made contact with Arthas there was a magical explosion that killed the dwarf. This was a big loss for all the dwarven people, that will never forgive the man who took Muradin to such a tragic death.
