There are nine character classes in World of Warcraft:

• Druid
• Hunter
• Mage
• Paladin
• Priest
• Rogue
• Shaman
• Warlock
• Warrior

With the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, a tenth class will be added, the Death Knight.
