The Basics

Arena Seasons are periods of time in which teams fight to earn titles and possibly even an Armored Swift Nether Drake, should the teams come in the top 0.5%. Each season also brings with it a new set of gear.

When a new season begins, players retain any arena points they may have had, but all teams are set back to a 1500 rating. The gear from the previous season is reduced in cost, and the gear from season before that is made available to purchase using Honor Points, meaning that players needn't take part in Arenas to obtain it, instead, just gain honor from the Battlegrounds.

Season 1

Season 1 began just before the release of the Burning Crusade, and ended on 19th June 2007. Below are the armor rewards for Season 1, there are also Season 1 Weapons and Accessories.
