Antonidas

Also known as the Archmage Antonidas, Head of the Kirin Tor of Dalaran.

Antonidas was the aged leader of the Kirin Tor, and possibly one of the most powerful wizards in the world. At the venerable age of 71, the Archmage's health was gradually failing. His apprentice, Jaina Proudmoore, served as his agent abroad.

It was the Archmage Antonidas who was responsible for suggesting that the Orcs' lethargy following the Second War was a symptom of withdrawal from the Warlock magic that had sustained their bloodlust for so long.

Antonidas was slain in defense of the Violet Citadel, the capital of his beloved magocratic nation, during the Third War.
