Aedelas Blackmoore

Lieutenant General of Durnholde Keep. Head of all internment camps. Found a baby orc in the woods while he hunted, whom he took him back to Durnholde to raise as a gladiator. He named the orc "Thrall" to describe his life of servitude.

Physical Description: "Tall and handsome, with black hair that fell to his shoulders, steel-blue eyes, and a small neatly trimmed goatee, he was the perfect heroic soldier." -Quote taken from "Lord of the Clans". Warcraft Novel by Christie Golden. Blackmoore also had a severe drinking problem.

Blackmoore's ulterior motives were, to turn Thrall into a leader of the depressed orcs that lie in the internment camps. By making Thrall leader of these orcs, Blackmoore would order the orcs to attack the Alliance nations, elevating Blackmoore to 'King of Azeroth' ("Azeroth" as in World, not the nation Azeroth that is now called the Kingdom of Stormwind).

Blackmoore's mistress was his servant's daughter: Taretha. Aedelas eventually beheads Taretha because of her fondness and sympathy of Thrall. He is later killed by none other than Thrall himself.
