Polar Bear Mounts Confirmed in Lich King

Yesterday, when Tigole announced the [item type="preload"]Amani War Bear[/item] will no longer be available after Lich King comes out, most of the community took the news quite badly, apart from the players who already have the mount of course ;) . However, later on in the same thread, he also hinted at another possible future mount:

No one knew whether to take him seriously or not, as he didn't give any more details than that. However, just now Bornakk has confirmed Tigole meant what he said in the post yesterday:

That looks pretty final to me, Polar Bears it is then! At least that rules out all the other suggestions there's been floating around like Penguin, Yeti and Walrus...

Polar Bear Form: same as Dire Bear, but (besides the looks) adds Frost Resistance by an amount same as your level.

I'm still holding out for penguin, yeti and walrus mounts. Announcement of one does not preclude the existence of multiple mount types.
Just as long as there aren't any more deer-like mounts.

Yay another hug :) I think the idea that someone suggested before, about Blizzard making changes to Druid forms, is a cracking idea. They've been the same for 3 years with no way to change the appearance, doing something that would enable players to change what they look like in animal form would be excellent.

you know. for me, i'll spend that money now, because it will allow me to do things quicker, and in the end, probably make enough money for whatever riding skill fee i'll have to pay later on anyway. think of it as an investment. that's how i see it. but to each his/her own.
