You are playing in WSG. As a non-twink hunter (and not even 19...) you will not be able to solo any of the twinks there. Your best bet is to stay at distance, find a player about to die, and unload. If you see the other teams flag carrier, use concussive shot to slow him down. If you are on defense (im not sure what level you get traps...) lay traps. It will break stealth of incoming rogues. If your teams flag carrier is heading by you, use concussive shot on the nearest enemy player.
basically, concussive shot it your friend and you should find somebody to use it on EVERY time it is available. Other than that, find players about to die, and help finish them off.
EDIT: You double posted! /sigh

I'll make it simple for you. Unless assigned to play defense, stay with the largest group of people on the field. Hunters do the most good bolstering the offense of a group. Stay back behind the warriors and rogues and hose stuff down. Protect your healers.
If you look around and you are farther forward than the rest of your group, BACK UP. :)

"you will not be able to solo any of the twinks there. "
Not strictly true, warriors and rogues are still easily kited at this level regardless of what gear you have. (Warriors dont have intercept yet, so as long as you get the first hit they cant charge you, and rogues dont have posions yet, so no chance of being slowed down with crippling either)
Firstly, if you dont know it already, learn to jump shot. To do this you need to make sure you are no longer using the WASD keys to move, but instead use the mouse, auto run and be able to turn quickly midjump fire a concussive/sting/arcane. They wont ever be able to get close to you. If they do get close to you, you still have wing clip to instantly get range again (make sure you dont get hamstringed)
Also, get 5 points in imp concussive shot..this is ESSENTIAL as it procs so often its unreal.
As you first exit the gates, the first thing you should always do is mark any twink rogues you see, maybe use the speed boost to get ahea of the pack and mark them before they get a chance to stealth. Another tip is to make a macro for /target <name of twink rogues> and keep spamming it to make sure you get them targetted and hunter marked asap. There's no vanish at this level, so unless the rogue twink has an intelligent priest who knows he can dispel it, that mark is staying on for good.
Another tip is always send your pet on any healers/casters...dont get into the habit of always sending to to your main target as its a waste, pets dont have dash at that level, so by the time he gets to your target hell probably already be dead. Far better that he starts wearing down your secondry target.
But what the poster above says about staying in the pack, always a good tip. Once a hunter gets mobbed, its over for him, especially is the mob is launching frostbolts and hamstringing.
Hope this helps.

Oh....and learn to use track humanoids...its invaluable in WSG. Even if you do suck at pvp you can still be useful simply by saying in /bg chat where the flag carrier is headed.
The split second you see the message 'annoying **** has captured your flag' you want to forget what you are doing and head back to your base asap. Turn on track humanoids and try and work out what exit he is taking. As soon as you know yell out (CAPS helps here especially if on alliance as people tend to ignore the BG chat) either RAMP/GY OR TUNNEL.
You are also essential for ending turtle games where the flag carrier is hiding in random ridiculously hard to find spot. Head up to there base and start scouting.
A hunter is probably one of the best classes for WSG, alongside druid (a big bag of HoT meat for flag running) as even if not twinked can still own if they play as a team and focus on the flag.

heres a tip: dont do bg untill u r 19,29,39,49,59, or 60.... makes life alot easyer, and u will be a better help ( iahd a 19 twink, and we would allways lose becuase we had lvl 14s,15s,ect. and the other team had 17s,18s,19s,ect.)
oyeah
concussion shot is ur friend
kite them mofos
hope thaht helped
listen to stigg.
Help out where you can, and don't bite off more than you can chew. Trying to solo kite a 19 twink will get you killed. You won't be able to do enough damage to matter and eventually they will catch you or someone else will ruin the party and take you out while you are trying to kite.
Try to stick with a group and slow down anyone you can. Get a boar for you pet, since Charge is an awesome pet ability.

Hmm...I disagree....Ive played a rogue twink to exhalted with WSG and AB and met one or two non twink hunters who could kite perfectly, making it impossible for me to get close. Sure, they wont be able to do amazing dmg ranged....but stack that with the insane dmg that pets deal at that level and it adds up. Plus during kiting nearly all the damage is done via arcane shot serpent sting and the pet, so how much agility you have is kinda irrelevent. Unless you have + 30 spell dmg on weapon:) now that would be an interesting choice (as an experiment, I'm not suggested its better that + 25 agility).especially after they buffed dots.
I was a mostly pure agility twink however and only had 1k hp. Some rogues can have alot more and im sure it would be more troublesome, especially as the chances are you will have others after you aswell. But if you do find yourself one on one with a twink rogue, I recommend at least trying to kite them one on one. You have nothing to lose, and everything to gain......mainly it will be good kiting experience under pressure and will improve your gameplay.
Who said anything about a rogue? I'm saying in general, twinks are not good match ups for low level now twinks. You specifically said a hunter can kite warriors and rogues. While rogues may be doable, warriors are trouble.
Unless the low level hunter is in a group..........he better stay well clear of my warrior. Hunters are the problem class for rogues all along the way, but especially in the 10-19 bracket since the rogue doesn't have a slowing effect yet. Warriors do.........and nobody can simply "avoid hamstring." If the warrior is spec'd with Imp Charge, which they should be, then they will always have enough rage for 2 hamstrings from the start. Even if you can trinket out of the first, you will be slowed by the second and you won't last long against a warrior who is popping out 400+ white crits.
I play a NE warrior so I almost always get the initial charge off vs most classes thx to shadowmeld. Even if I don't, I'm smart enough not to chase a kiting warrior, or any kiter for that matter. If a low level hunter can chew through my 1400+ hps and 1500+ armor (1900+ with shield) before someone else comes along to squash him, or he makes a mistake and gets close enough to get charged........I'll tip my hat to him. It hasn't happen yet. The battlefield is too chaotic to reliably kite someone. In a 1v1 encounter..........it's possible, but, BG's are not about 1v1.

Fair enough, I was talking mor specifically about rogues, warriors I have no experience in with the 19 bracket. I wasnt suggesting he intentionally seek out one on ones, I know BG's are about teamwork. I was just saying if he did happen to find himself in a one on one situation (eg when your entire team are wasting time farming hk's below the GY and you come accross the FC) not to shy away from trying to take a rogue twink 1 vs 1 because being a hunter you have the tools to take him down more than any other class.
And not not all rogues are smart enough not to try and chase while being kited. There for some reason are alot more noob rogue twinks than the other classes. I even saw one the other day wearing battle healers cloak ><.
LMAO
Sometimes I see "twinks" is just random gear thinking they are all hot stuff and they they get worked by some other noobcake..........and then the excuses start rolling in.
Low levels can contribute in certain ways. Low level warriors can Hamstring, Hunters have Concussion Shot. Mages can Sheep, Locks an Fear, etc.
Using your utility/CC abilities should be your first priority as a low level in a game with twinks. Stay with the group and you'll be fine. By no means should you just give up if you find yourself 1v1 with a twink........just don't go looking for them.

Ye I find its normally the twinks who are weaing crap like full defias or battle healers cloak are the same people yelling at the lvl 14's to GTFO of the battleground. Personally I dont care what level peopel join so long as they know there class utilities.
I recall one occasion where someone was yelling for lower level shaman to leave the BG....and I just asked the shaman..."can you drop slowing totems? Can you heal?". He replied "Of course". I watched him and he was always following me when I had the flag dropping totems and giving me his (albeit tiny) heals.
The supposed 'twink' on the other hand spent the entire battle farming HK's and not paying attention to the flag at all.
In conclusion, I'd much rather have that lower level shaman on my team than him any day of the week.
Fake twinks piss me off like you couldn't believe. I've seen it both ways. As long as the person knows what they are doing then I don't have a problem with it. When I get someone trying to chain sheep a rogue I am already attacking while another rogue is on me.............twink or not we will have words.
